My name is Obray Lyman, named after
legendary banjo picker Obray Ramsey. I grew up in the States working
in the family construction business from apprenticing with master
craftsmen to project managing multi-million dollar projects. Our customers
were mostly celebrities from Hollywood and Beverly Hills, people looking
for quality craftsmanship and creative talent. All projects are strictly
by word of mouth.
The company is dedicated to customer service and quality of workmanship, with an unrelenting commitment to detail. However, it is the close relationships they have with their clients that make them successful. I learned that if you work hard and do, not just a good job, but an excellent job, your customers will be happy and you will never be short of work. Quality of work and service are paramount, and this is what you can expect from Lyman Design. I love working with wood and being part of a process where ideas become something tangible providing joy and utility to peoples lives.
